Testimonies

  • I don't often call Cross Culture my church. I call it my spiritual family. We are more than a church. We are a community. I've been to a couple of churches where people really don't associate outside of the church services. Cross Culture is a place where Jesus rules and His love is ever-present. We, as a congregation, socialize outside of church, we help each other when in need. We are not only a church congregation, but brothers and sisters in Christ. The bond we have for each other is like family. There is no fight for leadership. No one is above anyone else. If there is ever a problem, open communication is available. Nothing is hidden. I love my church and the community it envelops. I love my Christian brothers and sisters. I wouldn't have it any other way.

  • The first time I went to cross culture, I knew I was home. A true family and a body of Christ that is active and engaged in community outreach, and loving others. This church is the definition of small but powerful, Jesus is doing amazing things with Cross Culture and I feel honoured to be a part of the journey.

  • Cross culture has been a vibrant and meaningful community to me, from when I first got involved over ten years ago as a new believer in Jesus. The Lord has been faithful to us, through great times and hard ones as well, leading us to continue meeting from Commercial Drive, to Burnaby, and New Westminster, living up to our alias as NFA (a church with No Fixed Address). We love worship, love each other, love serving, and love sharing Christ with others. It is still a wonderful journey with Cross Culture today, as the Lord continues to use us for his glory and spread his love, through serving the community of the Downtown Eastside, promotion of the protection of children through partnering with Little Warriors, weekly worship and Bible teaching, and new ministries and relationships. I am excited to see what the Lord will do next! I love Cross Culture!
